Farmhouse is provided with everything you need - from swimming towels to walking sticks, sun hats, binoculars, many board games, satellite TV and prepay mobile. Outside - massive terrace and pergola with unimpeded, incredible views, swimming pool (with electric cover), sunning area, large barbeque, childrens' play area, original working outdoor oven, and more. Free activities on site - mountain biking, trekking and walking, marked nature routes, tree house for animal observation, zip-lining, and bird watching. Total freedom for children – peaceful and safe. Hours of fun playing in the river and building tree houses.
Off-site activities - rafting, canoeing, abseiling, caving and potholing, canyoning, horse-riding, and archery. The local aerodrome offers para-gliding, para-motoring and para-triking. Something for everyone to do – all ages from small children to 90 year olds. Services we provide free - arrival meal, mid week clean and full concierge service to arrange any trips, buy and send in shopping and general assistance. Half day excursion into mountains in 4-wheel drive vehicles with trained drivers - picnic provided. Pre-arrival shopping and hand picked, excellent wine selection (you just pay cost of the material), cooks as required from just one dish per day to complete meals.
Food - wonderful organic produce, award winning olive oil, truffles and wild mushrooms (in season), honey from the estate, walnuts, etc. Local towns and villages - explore the variety from the local hamlets of Rio Madera and Pontones, to the fortified strongholds of Segura de la Sierra and Hornos, and finally the Unesco World Heritage cities of Granada, Ubeda and Baeza. About restaurants; 3 good restaurants in Segura alone - two with wonderful views. Eat 3 course set meals in small, local restaurants for Euros 10 per head including beer, wine and coffee !
